Policies: Images.  Refund.  Cancellation. Liability.

Rescheduling a Session: You may reschedule your session date for no additional fee one time, provided that you contact the studio at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.  You may use 100% of your session fee towards a future session that occurs within 6 months of your original scheduled appointment. After 3 months, your session deposit can no longer be used.  You will then have to book another session.  If you need to reschedule an additional time, or if notice is received less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled session appointment, there will be a service fee of $15 due at the time of the rescheduling for each additional rescheduled time.

Cancellation Policy:  If you choose to cancel your portrait session prior to being photographed, and it is not caused by a proven emergency to the photographer, or you do not wish to reschedule, you will forfeit 100% of your deposit fee.  If you have paid in full for a session, and do not wish to reschedule, you forfeit 50% of your total and will be refunded 50% if cancellation is at least 72 hours before scheduled session. If you have paid in full for a session and fail to cancel at least 72 hours in advance, and do not wish to reschedule, then you forfeit 100% of your session fee.

No Show:  If you choose to not show to your scheduled session, without explanation within 2 hours of your appointment time, you will forfeit 100% of your deposit.

Image Presentation Policy:  While the artist may photograph several images of you during the session, only the best images that tell your full story as determined by the client, the selections you make at the time of your session, will be edited and presented. The Photographer does not distribute unedited images.

Promotional Use of Images: Images that have been edited and accepted by the client can/may be used by the photographer for promotional use via social media, website, and/or studio printed portfolio and/or display.  Any paid opportunities that may involve a client's image (s), that may arise, will be handled in a separate contract between client and 

photographer.

Client Participation: Client shall assist and cooperate with Photographer in obtaining desired photographs. Photographer shall not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of Client’s failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation. Client will be respectful to Photographer and all parties being photographed. Photographer has the right to end the session, without refund, if there is lack of cooperation, respect and/or safety. Client will not hold Photographer or the owner of the property liable for any injury that may occur during the session.

Final Products:  All clients will receive edited images electronically via email or social media messenger. Professional prints can be purchased via Thrive Photography.  Print purchases are a separate cost from the session price.  You have rights to have the images printed on your own, but Thrive Photography can not guarantee the quality of prints from outside sources.  You do not have rights to re-edit images or post images via social media or commercial as someone else's work.
